I took a break from work and campaigning last night to just be Daddy and spend time with my 4 year old son, Ben. I am so blessed. I couldn’t help but reflect on the abused and neglected children I have helped advocate for in my 7 years volunteering with the District 9 Guardian ad Litem program (GAL).
The volunteers and staff in the District 9 GAL program do so much to selflessly serve as a voice for the children during judicial proceedings. They are remarkable in their dedication and compassion.
It continues to be an honor to work with the District 9 Guardian ad Litem program. It is one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences I have had as an attorney. I encourage you to consider volunteering too. You can get more information at District 9 Guardian ad Litem .
